ACD LA HOYA (SPAGNA)

ACD La Hoya is a Spanish Cultural and Sport association is based on the principles of cooperation, integration, environment protection, solidarity, humanity and universal human values and promotes an environment in which the community will be able to create, think, realize their ideas and build positions and reactions on important issues. Develop activities in the rural community as art, sport and culture, also dedicated to the successful implementation and participation of European projects to bring the youth and senior Europe closer. The main aim is to give the community possibilities to spend their time (Sport, arts, workshops, Culture, Europe) , to support bottom up initiatives of the community, improve social work and facilitate the integration of young and adult people into society especially those of rural areas by involving them in our work, and encouraging their creative spirit that helps increasing youth and adult participation in both local community and society in general. La Hoya will bring an immense amount of expertise with regards to dissemination to the ACTIVUS project and will benefit from an increased awareness of Dual Careers for the young, talented athletes in their club. Furthermore, they will be able to raise the inclusivity of young athletes in rural communities and further develop their professionals; two objectives which are innate to the Spanish Organization

SPORTIEF BESTEED PROJECTEN BV (PAESI BASSI)

SPORTIEF BESTEED GROEP is a versatile organization that is active in the Haaglanden and Rijnland Regions, with offices in the municipalities of Delft and Rijswijk. Their mission statement is: “Realization of an active society in which everyone participates and has the same chance of happiness, fulfillment and meaning”. SBG’s activities focus on tackling social issues such as loneliness, poverty, lack of personal development and integration. This way no one stands on the sidelines of society. Furthermore, they are driven by the social power of sport and culture, and create and organize activities that challenge young and old to participate in society. SBG invests in talent development, interaction between people and health. They put respect, tolerance, equality and solidarity at the core of our projects. Department “SBG Projecten” (Projects) guide governing bodies, non-profit, education, sports and culture organizations in project and programme management. Additionally SBG offers support in identifying funding opportunities for sports and culture stimulation. For example, in collaboration with national and local partners they are part of national programmes and movements such as Alcohol Free sports environments, Smoke-free child environments, and Healthier Sports Canteens. SBG Projects (management) is active as an overarching expertise within all seven daughter organizations. As previously mentioned, SBG works closely with different sport organizations, schools, municipalities and other relevant players and often adopts a consulting role with regards to framework, policy and general development of involved professionals.

L´ORMA SSD ARL (ITALIA)

L’ORMA aims at participating in the project in order to share with European partners its experience in sport and social initiatives organization, promotion and communication, above all addressed to young people and families. In particular, L’ORMA has been carrying out education workshops in schools for over 10 years, based on theatre and musical activities, where movement is used as a means of communication through music and expressiveness for youngsters. All our activities stimulate focus, fast response and are known to be funny and dynamic. Since its foundation, L’ORMA has established itself as a private educational agency, in the non-profit sector, a limpid example of a precursor of social enterprise applied to the world of sport and education; at the local level, it is very active in the dissemination and promotion of entrepreneurial culture and at the European level it can therefore share its experience in terms of entrepreneurial theory, techniques and methods in the field of sport.

KARATE FEDERATION OF REPUBLIC OF NORTH MACEDONIA (MACEDONIA SETTENTRIONALE)

One of our main goals as Federation is to undertake activities for permanent professional training and education of the athletes, coaching staff, as well as the judges. By participating in this project our athletes and trainers will gain knowledge about the importance of balanced social and professional development of athletes. Furthermore, organising focus groups and events will increase the awareness level about sport, dual career and will motivate people to develop themselves in different fields. The Karate Federation of North Macedonia is also a key player in the country’s national/international sport policy and share a network with potentially important stakeholders. Their participation in ACTIVUS will provide them with sufficient knowledge, tools and resources to assure a continued holistic growth among the sport, athletes, professionals and beyond.

COFAC COOPERATIVA DE FORMACAO E ANIMACAO CULT (PORTOGALLO)

Lusófona University is the result of the integration of Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias and Universidade Lusófona – Porto, originating two university centres (Lisbon and Porto). From the very start, their goals are “education, research in the various fields of science, culture and technologies, from an interdisciplinary perspective and, above all, with a view to the development of Portuguese-speaking countries and peoples”.Currently, Lusófona University offers 65 Bachelor programmes, 70 Masters, 4 Integrated Masters, 8 “Erasmus Mundus” International Masters, 2 Professional Masters and one in EAD, 13 PhD programmes and a wide range of postgraduation, specialised training and micro-credential courses. All the University’s courses meet the European higher education requirements, and comply with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Moreover, they are accredited by A3ES, the entity responsible for assessing and accrediting higher education in Portugal. From its assets, it is important to highlight its strong international nature, quite evident in the fact that the university leads one of the new “European Universities”, namely, Filmeu – European University for Film and Media Arts, and actively participates in dozens of research projects within the scope of, among others, the European programmes Horizon and E+. Furthermore, it welcomes more than 1,700 international students of 84 nationalities who are currently attending its courses. Lusófona University will be able to build upon their institutional research expertise within the project ACTIVUS and be a invaluable asset for the partner group.

LICEUL CU PROGRAM SPORTIV SUCEAVA (ROMANIA)

Is a sports High School Suceava is a vocational sports school which has 921 students and 82 teachers. LPS Suceava has specific expertise in conducting and implementing sports activities and has extraordinary results in this field: the handball, volleyball, athletics, football teams have won many prizes in national competitions. Some of students have been selected in national teams. The school is located in North of Romania in a social and economic disadvantaged area. Approximately 25 % of the student’s parents work abroad so school has major role in their education and daily life. One of the missions of the school is to help students integrate and have better skills for entry in the European labour market. Due to the hard work of both students and teachers involved in European projects LPS Suceava was awarded the possibility of taking part in Romanian National Competition. In 2014 and 2017 they won the award out of 65 other schools which allowed for more visibility in the community. Students and teachers are proud of this and they are looking forward to working in other projects. The project department includes 17 teachers is involved in applying teaching methodologies, wellness in the school environment, inclusion of students with special needs in our school. They enjoy good and sustainable collaborations with local community, local media and NGOs.

ACTIVUS
